Department Of Civil Engineering

Head Of The Deapartment
Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering, where we build the future with innovation and sustainability. Our department is committed to equipping students with technical expertise, practical knowledge, and problem-solving skills to create infrastructure that serves society and stands the test of time.
Vision
To develop Civil Engineers of high caliber, technical skills and ethical values to serve the society and nation.
Mission
M1(Knowledge): To promote an innovation center in education and build competent civil engineering professionals serving the needs of society and nation.
M2(Learning): To update and promote the curriculum in teaching learning process in line with industry requirements.
M3(Technical Abilities): To adapt advanced practical skills.
About the Department
The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2010 under the affiliation of ANNA UNIVERSITY, Chennai. Currently the department offers a 4-year graduate programme, B.E. in Civil Engineering. The department has well established laboratories with R&D facilities. It has a well-qualified, committed and motivated faculty team who continuously steers the students to be recognized as an international leader in engineering arena, research and the application of knowledge to uplift the society. The Department faculty and students are also powered by the ICI and ISTE Professional Bodies. The department follows the enhanced teaching aids like OHP, LCD projection and E-learning which help the students to visualize the concepts clearly in an easy and understandable manner.
